Vaibhav Sinha Besides work, Vaibhav’s passions are trekking in the mountains and driving in grueling motor rallies. Vaibhav participated in the Trans Himalayan Motor Rally in 2002/3. Baldy Rakhra brings 10 years experience in sales, marketing and training in the insurance and financial services industry. He has worked extensively on marketing and support for a number of affiliated offices throughout western Canada. Baldy has recently been in charge of marketing and business development for a major insurance company for Western Canada. He focuses on Project Management and Business Development for PhiStream. Baldy Rakhra spent a significant amount of time in various parts of India over the past few years and has done project development, marketing and training with several companies in the BPO, call centre, programming and web design fields. Baldy has also volunteered his time through various organizations such as The Abbotsford Rotary Club, Indo-Canadian Business Association, Lions Club, and the Children's' Hospital. Manish Mehrotra Manish is a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kanpur and graduated in 1997. During his stint at IIT Manish handled various projects ranging from studies on pre-stressed RCC concrete beams to determining sub surface resources using infra red mapping technologies. He has a work experience of 11 years most of which were spent in Indian Oil Corporation ( a Fortune 500 company) in various engineering positions. Manish is also a reservist in the Indian Territorial Army since 2000 and currently holds the rank of Captain. Manish likes to play the violin, tabla and keyboard during leisure time. He is also fond of reading fiction and philosophy. He loves to workout in the Gym, and has vowed to keep fit and healthy for as long as possible Paddy is a Bachelor of Technology from Madras University. He has 8 years of experience in all stages of Java based product development. He was a pre sales consultant for 3 years. He has worked mostly on Oracle Application Server and Tomcat and several databases like Oracle MySQL and Timesten. He has worked extensively in the wireless and RFID domains His forte is developing agile solutions that stress on re-usability and extensibility. Paddy's favorite companions are books and forests. Any free time would be spent in either reading or planning the next trip to remote jungles.The fact that he has been chased and attacked by several wild animals from elephants to a gang of monkeys, hasn't deterred him much. Misam Abbas Misam is responsible for the design of all the software projects undertaken by the company. He has also designed the path breaking database access layer and Search / Reporting mechanisms utilized by PhiStream in all its applications. Misam is a Computer Science graduate from IIT Delhi and has worked in organizations like IBM, Infosys and Mindtree. In his work with IBM in the United States, he was a critical member of the team spearheading two billion dollar projects in Denver and Tulsa and was consistently given the highest performance ranking among his peers in the company. Misam likes to read especially philosophical books and then inflict the more obscure philosophical theories on unsuspecting colleagues. He has also tried his hand at writing and has published a few short stories online. |
